Pañcāṅga
The almanac, for where you are.
Today's tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, Rahu Kaal and the muhurat windows — computed from your own sunrise rather than a printed almanac's home city.
Panchang in the North, pañcāṅgam in the South, aaj ka panchang for today's — the Hindu calendar and its five limbs, computed rather than approximated.

Five limbs, and the windows
- Tithi — the lunar day, the minute it turns, and each half-tithi (karaṇa) inside it.
- Vāra — the weekday, from your local sunrise rather than midnight.
- Nakṣatra — where the Moon sits now and when it steps on.
- Yoga and Karaṇa — the two limbs most apps quietly drop.
- Rāhu Kāla, Yama Gaṇḍa, Gulika — the windows to avoid new beginnings in, timed off your own sunrise and sunset.
- Śubha muhūrta and the horā ruling the hour; sunrise, sunset and moonrise for the day you are on.
- The festival calendar — Ugādi, Vishu, Vijaya Daśamī — and morning alerts for the vratas you keep: Ekādaśī, Pradoṣa, Saṅkaṣṭī, Pūrṇimā.
