About Vedic Phala
Traditional rules. Modern, local calculation.
Vedic Phala is a Vedic astrology and pañcāṅga app in eighteen languages, built by Pi Consultants. It computes every chart on your own phone from NASA JPL's DE441, shows the classical source under every line it says, and keeps your birth details on the device. On Google Play now, and on iPhone through TestFlight.

One codebase draws the Android and iPhone apps; this website carries the public explanations, the calculators, the festival calendar and the Matching and Ephemeris APIs for other platforms.
What guides the product
- The source under every line. A reading names the rule it rests on and the text the rule comes from; nothing is hidden behind a result.
- Place-aware time. Sunrise, tithi, the weekday and every festival are computed for where you are, and the day begins at sunrise as the tradition counts it.
- One product in eighteen languages. Sanskrit terms keep their proper form in every script, with the meaning beside them.
- Private by construction. No account is needed, no ad network is present, and a chart never leaves the phone that drew it.
- Both traditions of a match. The 36-point Guṇa Milāna of the north and the ten poruthams of the south, each scored the way its own families do.
